Lahore Commissioner Khusro Pervez has blamed India's intelligence agency Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) for the recent riots in Punjab province.The Daily Times quoted Pervez as saying that the recent anti-Christian riots in Gojra and Sheikhupura were orchestrated by the RAW.He added that various American and Western organisations were trying to create 'an Islamic brigade' in Pakistan by supporting the Indian spy agency.

The ministry of home affairs has received more than 20 proposals for foreign direct investment (FDI), including from China and Hong Kong, requiring security clearance between April and May. 'We are vetting some of these proposals which have come from various sectors. One of the applications is from a well known start-up,' an official said. Two Pakistani boys, who were arrested after straying across Barmer border in Rajasthan, were handed over to the Pakistani authorities as they were found innocent. They were quizzed by a team of officers from BSF, RAW, CID and the Rajasthan police, Meena said, adding nothing incriminating was found against the two.
